Jaityn Winchell
Internship and Workforce Coordinator
Jaityn is passionate about connecting students at Fort Lewis College with meaningful internship and career opportunities. She helps bridge the gap between college and the professional world by guiding students through resume and cover letter reviews, preparing them for interviews, and hosting dynamic classroom presentations. Her goal is to ensure each student feels confident taking their next big step—whether that's landing a job, securing an internship, or pursuing graduate school.
A proud 2018 graduate of FLC, Jaityn earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Communications with a minor in Sociology. As a first-generation college student, she participated in TRIO and hosted radio shows on KDUR, the campus station. After graduating, Jaityn worked in local radio sales before returning to FLC as an Advisor at Skyhawk Station, eventually finding her true passion in Career Services.
Outside of work, Jaityn can be found cooking up delicious meals, enjoying Netflix or Hulu marathons with her fur babies, practicing yoga, reading avidly, or tuning into true crime podcasts.
