Assistant Professor, University of Rochester
Drawing on research from her book, Reproduction on the Reservation: Pregnancy, Childbirth, and Colonialism in the Long Twentieth Century.
Dr. Theobald will discuss how historical processes and policies have produced disparities in Native maternal and child welfare, while chronicling more than a century of Native women's reproduction-related activism.
