Adam Pecan

Career & Workforce Coordinator


Adam is passionate about helping others thrive and grow. As the Career and Workforce Coordinator at Fort Lewis College, he empowers students and alumni to own and navigate their career journeys by helping them embrace their unique strengths, and craft lives of meaning and contribution that align with their true selves. He also supports and mentors a team of student career coaches and fosters students self-discovery, skill building, and confidence in engaging with their careers. Adam is a NCDA Certified Career Counselor and LPCC in the state of Colorado.

Before joining FLC, Adam has provided career counseling to students at CU Denver, facilitated experiential leadership development with Colorado Outward Bound School, worked in community radio, and served as a community mediator. Having been primarily based out of Moab, Utah, Adam is excited to connect with and serve the FLC and Durango community. In his free time, Adam enjoys climbing local cliffs, enjoying music, experimenting in the kitchen, and exploring the mountains, canyons, and rivers of the Colorado Plateau.
