Campaign Fundraising Internship
Our program offers an exciting, all hands-on deck working environment where our interns work in close collaboration with Fundraising Coordinators and gain skills and abilities that are critically important. HCI interns gain first-hand experience in analyzing FEC reports and filings, donor research and outreach, event planning, financial regulations and fundraising strategy.
HCI is a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment where no two days are the same. HCI Interns participate in daily meetings, contribute to database management, prospect donors, assist with the coordination of logistics for our clients’ events (both virtual and in person), and provide direct support to our clients during national call time.
Throughout the duration of the program, you will be tasked with substantive projects that will enable you to become an integral part of the team, working in close collaboration with HCI Finance Coordinators.
We are seeking highly motived college students and recent college graduates with a “can-do” attitude. Successful interns have a propensity for working hard and solving problems while supporting multiple projects simultaneously within limited timeframes.
Preferable fields of study include political science, economics, business, marketing, and event management. Practical experience on a campaign, fundraising, or in a political office setting is a plus.
