Durango School District 9-R is recruiting support staff substitutes for the 2021 – 2022 school year to provide coverage for non-licensed employees. In this capacity, you may substitute for preschool, special education, kindergarten and first-grade classroom aides. Occasionally, you may also be asked to substitute for receptionists, administrative assistants and attendance secretaries.
We are recruiting candidates who are willing to work a flexible schedule at locations and in positions that vary daily.
Upon accepting a support staff substitute position, you must also agree to be fingerprinted to meet employment requirements. In addition, a deduction of $22.50 will be taken from your first two paychecks, for a total of $45, to cover the cost of running a criminal background check off the fingerprints.
