To build the capacity of Sulzbacher and it’s employees to conduct program outreach activities and program eligibility procedures of housing programs serving homeless and at-risk women and men.
As a VISTA member, you will help individuals and families gain independence by creating access to affordable housing. You will educate, promote, and engage current and prospective community partners so that program participants have greater access to housing that is safe, stable, and affordable. You will conduct outreach to individuals who may qualify for programs and assist with determination of program eligibility, support housing programs through data entry and data quality measures, provide feedback and streamline processes. You will assist with planning and executing events where you represent housing services to the public. Our VISTAS will also collaborate to build organizational capacity through the creation of a training database for Sulzbacher staff.
